Aim So Low.
They left us hanging on with no way down.
Playing fugitive that can’t be found.
There's no time to mess around with "what I want to be's"
Lowered head and feet on the ground.
Oh, I believe we’re better off dead then to live our life with their noose wrapped around our necks.
When you figure out what to say you'll find out that the words never mattered anyway.
What's the best way out?
It's hard to know when they shove there shit down our goddamn throats.
There's no time to mess around with "what I want to be's"
Lowered head and feet on the ground.
Oh, I believe we’re better off dead then to live our life with their noose wrapped around our necks.
When you figure out what to say you'll find out that the words never mattered anyway.
Someday all of your righteousness will tear you apart when it steps in front of the things that you want.
This is better with you gone.
Don't sink your teeth in this place if you can't stand the taste.

Shaking Hands.
Blacked out again on these years of steady defeat.
Brush off days of shaking hands and sick on repeat.
I'm climbing down from a life of nothing realized.
Taking a course in fixing seams and flipping capsize.
And so we roll…
We are the ones who were jaded all along.
Just light the wick and watch it burning.
We know that there's no return.
Goddamn my mouth the words just slip through.
Born with this feeling that I won't know who cast me with this heavy heart and the gift of tearing things apart.
And so we roll…
We are the ones who were jaded all along.
Just light the wick and watch it burning.
We know that there's no return.
There's no use in this heart if it ain't got soul.
But there's no room in here to carry both.
We are the ones who were jaded all along.
Just light the wick and watch it burning.
We know that there's no return.

GREAT LAKES USA Boston
Great Lakes USA, started out with the dream of playing a few shows sometimes, writing jammers, and socially drinking whilst
playing sloppy covers of their favorite Hot Water Music, and Alkaline Trio songs.
Almost two years later, that dream is a reality:
We have teamed up with Black Numbers Records to release our first full length record, "Live Fast, Die Whenever", on November 9th 2012.
